This little book is packed with information on Texas History. If you are looking for a textbook, you wouldn't want ro buy it, but it is something that holds the reader's attention and I use it in combination with other history books that I already have. I home achool, so anything that my kids enjoy reading with good information in it seems good to me.

These good are all great. Wish I had gotten them in hard back because they come apart in paperback too easily.

This book is very informative with colorful pages, and lots of pictures. It is a textbook only with no review questions or workbook pages. I was expecting more of a workbook format. It seems quite complete, and is a very nice book if you are looking for a textbook type of book. I can't remember what the age or grade level was, but I think you could use it starting with 4th or 5th grade. My daughter is a 3rd grader this year, and I think it would be a bit too difficult for her.

This is the reader I am using to teach Texas History to our 3rd grader in Homeschool. It has good illustrations, though I wish it contained more actual photographs.
